Feel Like Spending on Yourself? Try this Bag at an Amazing Price!

I'm never one to keep quiet about a good sale, especially in this economy. I am admittedly smitten with this 5598 handbag at 6pm. It's like origami for grown-ups, embellished with just the right number of sequins and beading. An obvious choice for an elegant night out, I like pushing the envelope just a bit. In light of that fact, I'd also pair it with jeans, a tee, and killer peep to booties. Enough about its looks, the true beauty lies in its price. Just $16.95 at 6pm! And just like any savvy shopper, knowing that makes me love it even more! J. Renee - 5598 Handbag (Taupe) - Bags and Luggage

This Green Apple Will Have Your Friends Green With Envy!

How many times a day do we slather our lips with some type of chapstick or balm, relishing in the fact that our lips are now soft and moist, but knowing we'll need to re-apply in another hour? The answer of course is too many! Hence, my excitement when I saw Vincent Longo Cushion Lips SPF20. Don't be frightened by the green...it's a sheer washing bringing out natural undertones for all of us. Think of it as a conditioner for your lips, adhering to and maintaining a moisture barrier for hours. Bye-bye dry lips!

New Year New Boots!

I decided last night (as I was desperately trying to rid my car windows of malicious ice) that I needed a "go-to" boot. The pair I could turn to in desperate times and still feel fabulous. The pair featured here (KORS Michael Kors - Sagitta (Black Oiled Sport Suede) - Footwear) are just the pair I'm looking for. The wedge gives me some much needed height, but in a sturdy type of way. And the rubber sole lends me some type of traction. Not to mention the fact that these, well, they're gorgeous, not your typical snow boot!

Reebok EasyTone...You Tell Us, Do They Live Up to Their Claims?

We're seeing them on every other tv commercial and I admit, I am tempted to try the new Reebok EasyTone Reeinspire. While I'm not crazy about the color - pink...I'm more of a red, black, or just plain white running shoe kind of girl - I am anxious to see if the claims are really true, extra toning for my buns, thighs, and calves. Since so many of us make New Year's resolutions to get in shape, I'm waiting to hear from real people who've tried them. Have you? Leave a comment a let us know if they're worth the $99.00 or if we're better off saving our pennies!

It's a Button Down Miracle-a Little Slouchy, a Lot of Fit!

All of us have that one item or piece that somehow seems to evade us. For me, it's a button-down. That's right, the classic piece that most women have multiples of in their closet I struggle with beyond words. They just don't fit me quite right...if I get one that fits in my chest, its baggy under my arms and through my back and waist. If I get one that fits all of those parts, it pulls through my chest. And while I know I can get one altered, well, I don't want to. You can imagine then, how giddy I was with excitement when I spotted this slouchy knit BDG Knit Button Down Top. Super casual when tucked as shown, but left untucked its also a perfect candidate for a slim belt and a little bit dressier option.

Double Duty Necklace Works for Day or Night!

In this economy we're all looking for things that will go the distance, especially when it comes to our fashion choices. In recent years, a lot of jewelry has seemed very one way or the other. It's either a trendy piece appropriate for social occasions or a "plain-jane" looking piece that we can wear to work and still look "done-up." That's where this Diamond Cut Fillagree Ball Pendant in 14K Yellow Gold with Chain (My Jewelry Box) comes in. Yes, it's completely appropriate for work, but you'll look better than you've tried to be "done-up," you'll look put together, which we think is a much better option. For night, it's great alone, but an easy option for layering with all of your trendy pieces. There you have it, classic and trendy all in one shot, a winner in our book!

I'm Taking This on Faux Vacation!

It's typical of me. We've had our first really really cold spell, and I immediatley am drawn to anything that screams vacation or spring. Like this Allison Taylor Floral-Print Off-the-Shoulder Top for instance. It's practically yelling "Take a hiatus to the south!" isn't it? And, I suppose, if you want to wear it now, the sleeves adjust easy enough you can pull them up for a wider neckline and make the whole thing more weather appropriate. "Aruba, Jamaica, oooh I want to take ya....."

Under $25 Gift Guide: Burt's Bees Essential Body Kit

I actually recieved this two years ago and it quickly became a favorite. Small enough to fit in all of my bags (accept clutches), it was my go-to when I needed a fix...balm or lotion for everday and some great travel or after workout essentials. Kit contains: full size Beeswax Lip Balm, Coconut Foot Creme (.56 oz), Orange Essense Facial Cleanser (.56 oz), Hand Salve (.30 oz), Carrot Day Creme (.25 oz), Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream (.30 oz), Milk and Honey Body Lotion (1.2 fl oz), Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme (.25 oz), Soothingly Sensitive Aloe & Buttermilk Body Lotion (1 fl oz). I know the "point-whatever" ounces seem small, but somehow this lasted me forever...I guess not forever, but you know what I mean! Friends or loved ones will be thanking you for a long time after the fact for this one! Burt's Bees Essential Body Kit $12.99 at Drugstore.com.

Finish it off with this easy presentation: use a basket that is just taking up space around the house...you know, the one you received a great gift in but you're not sure what to do with the basket itself. Fill three quarters of it with tissue or other festive filler that coordinates with the gift wrap you wrapped your Burt's Bees package in. Surround with individually wrapped cookies (fresh baked by you, I'm sure) wrapped in Saran Wrap to stay fresh, and scatter Hersey Kisses or some other festive candy.

Under $25 Gift Guide: Philosophy First Snow Kit

While many of us are wishing for something along the lines of "First Warm Day" under the tree, we can all admit there is something special about the first snow. For example, relaxing with a good book under a blanket seems much more appropriate if the snow is falling (lightly) outside our windows.

Maybe that's why I'm drawn to
philosophy first snow ($25). The kit contains Snow Shower Exfoliating Shower Gel (4 oz), Snow Body Shimmer Lotion (2 oz), and Snow Kiss Lip Shine (.5 oz). From slewing off our dried skin cells and hydrating them after to the finishing touch of a shiny pucker, your friends and loved ones will be reminded that everyday is a fresh start just like that first fresh snow of the season.

Bulgari's Holds Auction at Christie's to Benefit Save the Children

From the Wish-I-Was-There file, Bulgari helped raise over $1.5 million at Christie's New York all to the benefit of the Save the Children Campaign. Save the Children aids in the education of children suffering from the consequences of war and conflict. Not only were the gems beautiful, but the celebs shined bright as well, as proven by Rose Byrn, below.
